Learn to Write an eBook
with the help of
eBook Generator Software
with in-built
eBook Security Software
Every successful online marketing expert will tell you that in order to really boost your chances of making a success of your
online business, you will have to create information products of your own. This means that you will have to learn to write an eBook or
two of your own, rather than rely entirely on promoting other people's products.
Whilst you can, and many do, generate considerable incomes promoting other people's products, assuming you choose your products wisely and
put the work in, nothing will compare with the income that you may generate by creating your own eBook, even if you have to begin by using a
free eBook Generator Software! Of course, the level of income and/or success will depend upon the quality of your product and whether
or not there is demand for your information you are providing.
The beauty of producing your own eBooks (you'll need eBook cover software, too, by the way) is that you can set up an affiliate scheme (once
you've sold a few copies of your eBook and can see that there is a market for it) and allow your products to be sold by your own
affiliates, many of whom will have established online businesses and will have their own list of loyal customers to whom they can promote
YOUR product(s)!
If your eBook is any good and for which there is a hungry market, these affiliates will be happy to promote your eBook to
their list and, based on their promotion, you could not only sell more of your eBooks through their efforts but you would also have the
opportunity to add to your own list when your affiliates' customers visit your site.
But How Do Choose the Right eBook Generator Software?
What Software is Needed to Create an eBook?
When you first start out, money may be tight. So before you splash out on sophisticated and expensive eBook Generator Software, it
may be a good idea for you to try out one or two of the Free eBook Generator Software programs that may be available to you. This will not only
help you familiarise yourself with the eBook editor of your choice, but it will also enable you to see what other features and benefits you'd
like to see incorporated in the eBook software that you eventually choose to buy.
For example, eBook security is very important, but not all eBook Generator Software programs enable you to protect your product from customers
who buy and download your eBook but then promptly demand a refund - you lose your money but they get to keep your eBook!
Free eBook Generator Software Programs that Create PDF documents
The initials PDF stand for "Portable Document Format" and it is the industry standard format for the secure and reliable distribution and
exchange of electronic documents and forms around the world. Of course, you will find many FREE PDF editors online. However,
I'm limiting my list to those eBook creation software programs about which I have heard positive comments. Of these PDF editors, the first
one is:
CutePDF Writer (formerly CutePDF Printer) according to the producers, "is the
FREE version of commercial PDF creation software which installs itself as a "printer subsystem". This enables virtually any Windows
applications (must be able to print) to create professional quality PDF documents - with just a push of a button!"
You can download this eBook creation software, without charge, and use it. CutePDF has a good reputation and there are testimonials from people who have found it easy to use. I cannot
recommend it one way or another because I have no personal experience of it but since it is FREE, I've included it, here for your convenience,
so that you may, if you wish, investigate its features for yourself. They do have a commercial version which you would have to buy,
if you should wish to invest in it at some future date. Click here to find out more!
Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional - This brand is
already an household name for PDF document creation and it is used by the vast majority of online experts who produce eBooks. Please
note, the Adobe Acrobat Reader (eBook reading software) will be needed in order to read
PDF documents. The Adobe Acrobat Reader is FREE and can be downloaded from Adobe's own site although you may, already, have it installed on
your system if you have bought any PDF documents in the past.
Although Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional is not, strictly speaking, FREE, they do allow you to download a FREE, trial version and
use it for 30 days after which you will have to pay for the software, if you want to continue using it. During the 30 day trial period,
they allow you to create FIVE eBooks (online), again without charge, so you may like to give this software program a go before you decide to
buy a copy.
There are various eBook security features that you can select, when you are in the process of creating your eBook, to password protect your eBook
and also restrict your customers from various functions such as editing, amending, printing and, etc. But it does not, yet, allow you
to disable the eBook, altogether, so that the purchaser is prevented from accessing the eBook once a refund is
demanded and issued! So do write to Adobe and ask if they have, now, introduced this feature into their software.
The eBook creation software is easy to use - it involves producing your eBook in Word and then simply clicking on the appropriate icon to convert
the Word document (your eBook) into PDF! It is very user-friendly and simple to use with easy-to-follow dialogue boxes and clear
interface. Click here for more information.
eBook Pro - Although I have a copy of Adobe Acrobat 8
Professional, I prefer to use eBook Pro for creating my eBooks. There is little difference between eBook Pro and Adobe Acrobat, so far
as the eBook creation process, itself, is concerned, but the clincher for me is the fact that eBook Pro has that additional delivery and
security features that I craved!
It's security features are second to none, in my opinion. For example, if I were dishonest and deliberately bought YOUR
eBook Pro-created ebook with the intention of abusing the copyright and other terms of service, and then proceeded to distribute YOUR eBook among
my friends, or even to sell it on to others, I would be prevented from doing so. Because eBook Pro enables YOU, the eBook Author, to
restrict how many times I, the original purchaser may access the document without reference to you, AND it would DISABLE the document,
at source, from ever being opened by any third party to whom I may foolishly distribute/sell YOUR eBook. Or if I demanded a
refund, in the hope that I could, still, FREELY benefit from YOUR eBook, YOU could, remotely, disable my access to the document with
just a click of a button! Don't you think that's neat?
According to eBook Pro's producers, "there's no longer any reason for you to be taking dangerous risks with your business. Now your
computer can deliver your products instantly and automatically (with zero cost) over the Internet. eBook Pro can even:
1. Capture your customers' credit card numbers
2. Wire their money directly into your bank account
3. Enter the customer contact information into your own private database.

With eBook Pro, your eBooks are easy to produce, they're cost-effective, and they have the potential to generate insane amounts of profit with
relatively little effort on you part!"
There is a comprehensive print and video tutorial system in place and the Help Desk staff are incredibly courteous and helpful, if you call
them, and are equally helpful when you email with any queries. And the product is competitively priced. Click here for further information and to view a video demo.
What about eBook Covers?
Should you decide to create your own eBooks, then you will need eBook cover software to provide the necessary graphic images for your
books to enable you to make your products look professional and as appealing as possible to your prospective customers.
I have no doubt that you will come across FREE ecover software programs online but my research into these was disappointing, to
say the least! Sites that seemed to be advertising FREE software were, in fact, listing software with a
price tag!
However, there is one site that is fairly reliable for freeware stuff but the reviews on eBook cover software programs, listed on the site, did
not inspire much confidence! But since this site is intended to give you as much helpful information as possible, you may wish to
click here to visit the site, concerned, to check out the details for yourself.
My research into eBook cover software is fairly recent and I list the three that caught my attention and from which I
made my selection to purchase. Unfortunately, however, the following three software programs are not free but they won't break the
bank, either!
Virtual Cover Creator - I like this particular software because it has the
full range of graphics for showing your ebooks from various angles, either individually or grouped in a box, with the spine of each of the few
books being visible in the "box!" Great, if you want to show bonus items grouped together in a box. The graphics are impressive
and the software, itself, is easy to use. It has images for creating covers for "ring binders", "manuals" and just about every other
kind of document or digital product holder! It did not take me long to decide to purchase this great ecover software. If you want
to try out this software, the company offers you a FREE trial version and a 7-day money back guarantee. Click here for full details.
eCover Generator Software - This eBook cover software, like the above, has
similar features. However, although it has "box" graphics, it does not have the more advanced feature of the "books in a box"
graphics that the Virtual Cover Creator has. eCover Generator Software comes as a very close second to the first ecover creator listed.
This company offers you a "free" trial with a 30-day money back guarantee.
This is what the producers of eCover Generator Software had to say in response to my email, explaining (when asked) why I would be selecting their
competitor's product! "We do not offer the multiple or "stack" of books cover option, but we're going to send a message to the product
development team and let them know the request has been made."
Who knows, by the time you are ready to buy an ecover generator software, this feature may be included with this particular software,
also! Click here to visit the site.
Cover Action Pro - Again, very similar to the above two so far as the different
style of document/digital product covers are concerned, but unlike the first ebook cover software listed, it does not have the more advanced
feature for grouped books in a "box". This, like the others, will enable you to create covers for books and "labels" for CDs and
DVDs although the examples given on their site suggest that the graphics may either be in solid, block colours or less comprehensive than
the above two.
But a word of caution, here. This software requires you to have Adobe Photoshop which is a very expensive (several hundred dollars) graphics software! So if you don't have
Photoshop or if you want an all-in-one/stand alone ecover generator software, this particular software may not be for you! Click here to see the range for yourself.
There is little or no difference, in price, between the three ecover software programs. They are all under $100 with
the first one of the three listed, above, being the cheapest!
